Shari Apotheker is an artist based in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. She earned her MFA in Sculpture from Boston University in 2010 after completing her undergraduate studies in the same field. Over the years, Shari has worked with a variety of art-based nonprofits, both behind the scenes and in the classroom, teaching a wide range of students—including adults with disabilities.
While trained in multiple mediums, Shari is passionate about working with natural and recycled materials, exploring craft traditions such as jewelry making, sewing, and natural dyeing. Recently, she has been focused on sewing handmade toys for her two children and discovering the vibrant colors hidden within wild plants around her home.
